WISHES: Wellbeing Improvement Survey for Higher Education Settings
Student wellbeing is an institutional priority at UCR. Through the Wellbeing Improvement Survey for Higher Education Settings (WISHES) project, we aim to better understand and enhance the student experience on campus: academically, socially, and emotionally.
Unlike traditional surveys that focus on compliance or research, WISHES enables UCR to gather timely, actionable insights about student wellbeing. These insights help inform systemic change by identifying root causes of inequities, highlighting impactful student experiences, and surfacing barriers to inclusion. Our focus is on building a culture of evidence that drives real improvements to policies, services, and campus life.
The dashboard below presents data collected through the WISHES project, providing an overview of key wellbeing indicators and analysis of how UCR students are experiencing their campus environment.
