Month vs Incidents
The monthly number of incidents assigned at UCPD range from lows of about 2,000 in November and December of 2024 to a high of over 3,300 in May of 2025. May '25 was an outlier, ~10% higher than the second busiest month.
Total Cases vs Arrests
The data shows the number of cases fluctuating across months. Activity levels tend to rise during academic quarters, and drop during breaks, showing a clear seasonal pattern.

Response Times
Monthly Averages
UCPD response times typically average around 30 minutes. Notable spikes, to about 55 minutes, can be observed in May '25 and Sep '25, indicating periods of increased complexity or resource. UCPD's median response time is about 29 minutes.
